Founded in 1951, Flushing Kent Realty Management LLC began as a partnership between two friends, Theodore Ain and Robert “Bob” Marani, with a shared vision of delivering exceptional real estate services to property owners throughout New York.
Founded in Flushing, Queens, “Kent Realty” for short has evolved into a full-service brokerage and property management firm, overseeing over 400,000 square feet and serving thousands of tenants throughout its history.

Theodore Ain and Robert “Bob” Marani found Flushing Kent Realty Management LLC as a partnership between two friends, beginning a legacy of exceptional real estate services for property owners throughout New York.
A New Home Base
Kent Realty establishes its new headquarters in one of the first commercial office condominium buildings in Downtown Flushing, developed and built specifically to Kent's requirements on 39th Avenue. For more than 40 years, Kent has proudly called Flushing its home base.
The Next Generation
Spencer and Judson Ain, Theodore Ain's two sons, assume leadership of Kent Realty, continuing the firm's longstanding commitment to excellence in property management and real estate services.
Investing in the Community
Judson Ain becomes a founding member of the Flushing BID (Business Improvement District), focused on providing supplemental services to strengthen and enhance operations for the many commercial businesses throughout Downtown Flushing.
A Modernized Workspace
Kent Realty completes a full renovation of its 39th Avenue headquarters, emphasizing digitization, streamlined communication for partners and tenants, and the creation of a modernized workspace for its staff.
Celebrating 75 Years
Kent Realty celebrates 75 years in Downtown Flushing, led by second-generation ownership and preparing to serve as stewards for the next 75 years of some of the highest-trafficked commercial properties in New York City.
